Sustainability is everyone’s responsibility, and we must all work together to make small changes that can have a big impact on our precious earth
Wax & Wicks
We use natural vegetable soy wax. Soy wax candles burn cleaner and longer than paraffin candles and hold their scent right to the end. Soy is a renewable resource and is biodegradable. Our soy comes from a sustainable source and is certified-free from genetically modified materials.
We never use paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum, and is not only unsustainable and non-renewable but is also toxic. Our wicks are cotton and lead-free and primed with natural wax.
Packaging
All our packaging is either recyclable or biodegradable. We repurpose our incoming shipping boxes and packaging wherever possible.
Your orders are packed using kraft packing paper or biodegradable packing pellets.
You can reuse, recycle, or simply wash these pellets down the sink! Our eco-friendly packaging tape has a water-based adhesive and can be fully recycled.
Fragrances
Where our scented candles are not made from pure essential oils, we use fragrance oils, all of which are derived from high-quality synthetic ingredients. These are also phthalate-free. We choose to work using these fragrance oils because working with a large volume of natural fragrance is unsustainable due to the large quantity of material needed to produce just a small amount of fragrance. Working with safe, high-quality synthetic fragrance oils also gives us a wider choice to make unique creations for you! Our essential oil mists contain pure essential oil.
Vessels
All our vessels can be re-used, repurposed, or recycled. After cleaning out your vessel you can simply use it as a vase for flowers, a pencil or makeup pot, or a container to hold your trinkets.
